Meet the Defensive Lineman
James Turrentine was born on August 11th as the son of Rosalinda Rodriguez. In his free time he plays video games and enjoys hiking, fishing, and exercising. He is currently studying Exercise Science at CSU Pueblo, and wants to be a strength and conditioning coach post-graduation.
Starting his football career at Pleasant Grove High School, James was a lettered defensive lineman for Coach Mathew Costa. His accomplishments prior to graduating in 2021 included:

Post-high school graduation, James attended American River College (2021-2022) and was a lettered defensive lineman for the two years he played. He earned First-Team All-League honors as a sophomore (2022) and was a member of the Beavers' back-to-back Nor-Cal Conference Championship teams. James also helped the Beavers win the Nor-Cal Regional title in 2022 and advanced to the 2022 Northern California Championship game, where they finished as runners-up.
